Empowered to Setup Her Own Beauty Salon

My name is Kinza Tariq, and I am a resident of Nahla Village. In our family of six, I am the eldest of four siblings. My father works as a laborer and has always done his best to take care of us. Despite his hard work, it was challenging to make ends meet.  An announcement was made in our church about JECUP, an organization providing small business opportunities to young men and women.

Empowered to Setup Her Own Beauty Salon

Filled with hope, I reached out and had my application form filled out, detailing my skills and aspirations. A few weeks later, I received wonderful news: JECUP had approved my application and provided me with the materials needed to start my beauty parlor. With their support, I set up a dedicated space to cater to my clients. Since then, I have been earning a steady monthly income of PKR 17,000. During the wedding season, my earnings can soar up to PKR 30,000. Being able to contribute financially to my family has been incredibly fulfilling. It feels amazing to support my loved ones and lessen the financial burden on my father. JECUP and GCR have truly been a beacon of hope for us, turning my dreams into reality and allowing me to become a blessing to my family. I am thankful to JECUP and GCR for their kindness and for allowing me to build a better future. Their generosity has turned around our lives, and for that, I am forever thankful.
